Balancing environmental requirements with the need for public safety and an uninterrupted power supply is often a delicate matter. Even though trees must be kept clear of powerlines, rail and road infrastructure, proper pruning techniques are essential for tree health. All PowerClear staff are certified arborists, working to the Australian Standard AS4373, to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for both customers and utility companies. Our arborists are skilled in species identification, and are trained in recognition of rare or endangered vegetation. Some trees are simply growing in the wrong place with regards to utilities. When a tree needs to be removed, PowerClear are staff expert in rigging and felling large and dangerous trees near live overhead powerlines. All our climbing crews are certified in Close Approach Tree Trimming, Large Tree Felling and Aerial Rescue techniques. |
